Anna Mouglalis

  Anna Mouglalis is a French actress and musician. Committed voice in French cinema discovered by Claude Chabrol, she has spent thirty years navigating the most radical forms of cinema, theatre and literature. In 2025, Bong Joon-ho cast her — drawn, by his own admission, to her one-of-a-kind voice — as the Crawler Mother in Mickey 17. That same year, she cofounded Draga, a music collective dedicated to the work of Monique Wittig, and joined the jury of the Prix Gouincourt to counter the invisibility of queer narratives in the literary landscape. In December 2024, she testified before the French parliamentary commission of inquiry into sexist and sexual violence in the film industry. She is a Chanel ambassador since 2001.
