Jad Salfiti

As a British-Palestinian journalist based in Berlin, Jad Salfiti has made the correlation between culture and politics one of the focal angles of his work. Concerned with queer cinema and the Middle East, Jad Salfiti is also the author of a documentary series entitled Germany’s Palestine Problem, which won the WAN-IFRA Middle East 2023 Award for « Best use of video ». A contributor to The Guardian, the Financial Times, The Economist and Al Jazeera English, Jad Salfiti is also taking part in hosting the ARTE, Europe Weekly. He reports on LGBTQIA+ cinema for the BBC Talking Movies programm and contributes to Jonzo and its irreverent queer interviews.
